Arlington Thrive chosen as featured charitable organization for Arlington Rotary Club’s “Wine Helps!” event

Arlington Thrive is pleased to be the featured charitable organization for “Wine Helps! Drink a Little – Help a Lot,” hosted by Arlington Rotary Club on September 19, 6:00-8:30 p.m. Joining Arlington Rotary Club to sponsor the event are Arrowine and Cheese, Proof restaurant, Mezeh, Allspice Cafe and Lebanese Taverna. The evening will feature samples of 20 wines, gourmet cheeses and charcuterie. There will also be a raffle to win a four-course chef’s tasting menu for eight guests at Proof — a $1300 value.

Arlington Rotary Club has pledged to raise $5000 for Arlington Thrive, and The Rotary International Foundation will match $2500 of the funds raised.

Tickets for the event are available here. “Wine Helps!” will take place at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (4301 Wilson Blvd., Arlington), which is close to the Ballston-MU Metro station. Free parking is available in the building.
