Biography

Alina was born in Mexico City and moved to Washington, DC as a young girl where she became passionate about helping underserved communities in the United States. Alina graduated from the University of Maryland-College Park in 2010, where she managed an advocacy program that improved outcomes for the local disadvantaged Latino community. For the last three years, Alina was the Executive Director of the Los Angeles Football Club Foundation. Alina’s desire to bring her diverse skill set “back home,” coupled with her commitment to collaboration and community, return on impact, and long-term measurable programming, led her to Arlington Thrive. Alina will drive fundraising and business development initiatives while also continuing to grow and nurture relationships with our 30+ nonprofit partners.
