Living with a disability presents a unique set of challenges.  However, no one should have to face these challenges alone, and these organizations exist to offer a helping hand and a supportive community.

Arlington Developmental Disability Services

Provides service coordination, residential services and employment services for people with developmental disabilities.

Arlington Health Clinics and Services

Provides early intervention services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays.

Endependence Center of Northern Virginia

The ENDependence Center of Northern Virginia (ECNV) is a community resource and advocacy center run by and for persons with disabilities. ECNV’s mission is to END dependence by empowering people with disabilities to live independently. They are a cross-disability organization and work with people of all ages who have every type of disability.

Parent Resource Center

Provides resources and support for parents of children receiving special education services in Arlington Public Schools.

Arlington Special Education PTA

Parent-teacher Association for students with disabilities in Arlington Public Schools, providing parent support and educational events for both parents and school personnel.

The Arc of Northern Virginia

Provides information, resources and advocacy for individuals with disabilities and their families.
