Despite facing the obstacle of limited English language skills, Raquel’s commitment to improving her life led her to reach out to Arlington Thrive. Our compassionate team connected her with the Arlington Employment Center and Ceneas, a program that offers language and job training services in our community. Through Ceneas, Raquel is now gaining proficiency in reading and writing in Spanish, learning English as a second language, and even preparing for her GED. With the unwavering support of our social work team and the resources provided by Ceneas, Raquel is on a transformative path towards acquiring the skills she needs to find a job she is passionate about.
