Diapers and health and wellness suppliesIn its first two months, the Wee Thrive Baby Pantry—launched in March 2026—has already supported over 50 local families with young children. Behind that number are parents navigating the high cost of raising a baby, and finding relief, dignity, and hope through a community that shows up for them.

Serving families with children up to age four, the pantry provides essential items like diapers, wipes, clothing, shoes, books, bottles, formula, and hygiene supplies. For low-income families confronting the rising cost of living, these basics are out of reach. So, the ability to bring home more than 15 items in a single visit can mean the difference between stress and stability.

This impact is made possible by neighbors who care. From gently used baby items donated by community members to financial gifts that help us purchase diapers and wipes—two of the most consistently needed and hardest-to-afford essentials—every contribution directly supports a child’s well-being and a caregiver’s peace of mind.

Volunteers are at the heart of the pantry experience. They welcome families, help them select items that meet their needs, and thoughtfully sort incoming donations so that every visit feels organized, respectful, and empowering. Their time and compassion turn a simple distribution of goods into a moment of connection and care.

We are also grateful for the strong network of partners who have stepped forward. Rock Spring Congregational United Church of Christ organized a drive for diapers and wipes, Amazon HQ2 employees in National Landing collected clothing and supplies during Volunteer Month, and Read Early and Daily (READ) donated children’s books—ensuring that families leave not only with essentials, but with opportunities for early learning and joy.

You can be part of that impact.
